Managing Your Squad

Select your starting XI before the Gameweek deadline.

• Start 11 players
• Keep 4 players on the bench
• Select your captain and vice-captain
• Changes must be completed before the deadline
• Your formation must remain valid

Valid Formations

Your starting XI must follow one of the approved Goli Fantasy formations.

• 3-5-2
• 4-4-2

• 5-3-2

• 5-2-3

Captain & Vice-Captain

• Captain receives 2× points
• Vice-captain is the backup captain
• Vice-captain takes over if the captain records 0 minutes
• Only one captain and one vice-captain may be selected
• Captain selection must be completed before the Gameweek deadline

Bench & Automatic Substitutions

• Bench contains 4 players
• Bench order determines substitution priority
• A goalkeeper can only be replaced by the bench goalkeeper
• Outfield substitutions must maintain a valid formation
• Automatic substitutions are processed according to Gameweek rules

Transfers

Managers can change players in their squad during the end of the Gameweek, subject to the transfer rules applicable to each Gameweek.

• Replace players through the transfer system
• Transfers must comply with squad-position rules
• Transfers must remain within the available budget
• Transfer history is recorded
• Transfers made after the deadline apply according to the next eligible Gameweek

Gameweek Deadline

• Every Gameweek has a fixed deadline
• Starting XI must be selected before the deadline
• Captain and vice-captain must be selected before the deadline
• Eligible transfers must be completed before the applicable deadline
• Changes after the deadline may apply to the following Gameweek

Player Prices & Team Value

• Every player has a fantasy price
• Your squad must remain within the permitted budget
• Player prices may change during the season
• Transfers must be affordable using your available team budget

How Players Earn Points

Players earn fantasy points based on their performances in their real football matches.

• Appearance and playing time
• Goals
• Assists
• Clean sheets
• Goalkeeper saves
• Penalty saves
• Bonus performance points
• Points may be deducted for negative events

Negative Points

• Yellow cards
• Red cards
• Own goals
• Penalty misses
• Goals conceded where applicable
• Other deductions defined by the official scoring system

Gameweek Points

• Points are calculated for each Gameweek
• Starting players contribute to your Gameweek score
• Captain points are multiplied by 2
• Automatic substitutions may affect the final score
• Final Gameweek points are determined after applicable fixtures are processed

Total Points

Your total score represents the accumulated fantasy points from eligible Gameweeks.

• Gameweek points accumulate throughout the season
• Captain multipliers are included
• Applicable transfer deductions are included
• Finalized points contribute to overall rankings

Live, Provisional & Final Points

• Live points may change while matches are being played
• Provisional points may be adjusted after match data is reviewed
• Final points are recorded after the relevant Gameweek data is finalized
• Rankings may update as points are processed

Rankings

• Managers are ranked according to their eligible fantasy points
• Gameweek rankings show performance for an individual Gameweek
• Overall rankings reflect accumulated eligible points
• Applicable deductions are reflected in rankings
• Competition-specific eligibility rules may apply

Fixtures & Match Status

• Fantasy points are linked to real football fixtures
• Fixtures may be upcoming, live, finished or finalized
• Postponed or rescheduled fixtures are processed according to their final status
• Player points are updated when official match data becomes available

Player Availability

• Injured or suspended players remain part of your squad unless transferred out
• A player who does not play may be eligible for automatic substitution
• Selection decisions remain the responsibility of each manager
• Match availability may change before kickoff

Transfer Deductions

Where applicable, transfers beyond the permitted free-transfer allowance may result in a points deduction.

• Free transfers are determined by the Gameweek transfer rules
• Additional transfers may carry a points cost
• Transfer deductions are reflected in the Gameweek score
• Transfer history is retained for record purposes

Special Features & Chips

Goli Fantasy may provide special Gameweek features that allow managers to temporarily modify their normal squad strategy.

• Special features are subject to their individual rules
• Availability may be limited to specific periods
• A feature can only be used according to its stated conditions
• Used features may not be reusable where prohibited

Competitions & Leagues

• Managers may compete in available fantasy competitions
• Private leagues may have their own entry requirements
• Competition rankings are calculated from eligible team performance
• Competition-specific rules apply where stated

Paid Competitions & Eligibility

• Some competitions may require a paid entry
• Entry is confirmed only after successful payment verification
• Unpaid teams may not qualify for prize rankings
• Prize eligibility is subject to the specific competition rules
• Payment records are retained for verification

Fair Play

• Each manager may only operate their own account
• Manipulation of game data is prohibited
• Exploitation of bugs or vulnerabilities is prohibited
• Fraudulent activity may result in account or competition restrictions
• Goli Fantasy may investigate irregular activity

Data Corrections

• Match data may be corrected after initial publication
• Fantasy points may therefore change after a match
• Rankings may be recalculated when valid corrections are received
• Finalized official data takes precedence over earlier live data

Gameweek Finalization

• Gameweek results remain subject to match-data processing
• Final scores are confirmed after relevant fixtures are processed
• Finalized scores are used for official rankings
• Legitimate data corrections may still be applied when necessary

Manager Responsibility

• Managers are responsible for selecting their squad
• Managers are responsible for checking deadlines
• Managers should review their starting XI before each deadline
• Managers should ensure their account and payment information is accurate

Rules & Updates

Goli Fantasy may update game rules when necessary to improve fairness, accuracy, security or gameplay.

• Important rule changes will be communicated through the platform
• Competition-specific rules may override general rules where clearly stated
